Dictate in Farsi, in almost any app​

Farsi Nevis turns your voice into Farsi text with live transcription. Speak naturally and watch your words appear — then paste the result wherever you were typing.

How to dictate​

1. Tap the microphone on the keyboard​

While you're typing with the Farsi Nevis keyboard, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard toolbar. The Farsi Nevis app opens and starts listening right away — no extra taps needed.

You can also start from the Speech to text button on the app's home screen.

2. Speak naturally​

Your words appear on screen as you speak. Each dictation session can run up to 2 minutes, and you can dictate again to continue — new text is added to what you already have.

3. Copy or paste your text​

  • Tap Copy to put the transcript on your clipboard.
  • Or switch back to the app you were typing in: the transcript is waiting on the keyboard — tap it to paste.

Good to know​

  • Internet required. Dictation streams your audio to a speech-recognition service only while you're dictating; nothing is recorded otherwise.
  • Microphone permission. The first time you dictate, iOS asks for microphone access.
  • Free minutes every month. You get a free monthly allowance of dictation minutes, with a bigger welcome allowance in your first calendar month. Farsi Nevis Pro makes dictation unlimited.
